I became interested in photography around 1965 after seeing a book in the library featuring the photos of various well-known photographers of the period. I’ve never studied photography or even joined a camera club preferring to do things my own way.
I got into digital photography after winning a digital SLR kit on a photo comp website, entering a photo taken on colour transparency film and then scanned. Fifteen years on I’m still using that kit even though technically it’s obsolete, but it still does the job.
